The Wrangler was named to reflect its past life as home of the Baldpate’s legendary horse wrangler, Chuck Malone (you’ll see his name carved into the fireplace mantle!) Our mid-size cabin is perfect for a family get-away or small group of friends traveling together. Two private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other offering two twin beds, can easily sleep four guests. The spacious bathroom is complete with an antique claw-foot bathtub for a long, hot soak, or simply close the curtains to enjoy a refreshing shower after a day of hiking. The living room boasts a window seat with a beautiful view of the forest and mountains beyond, while the original native stone wood-burning fireplace will invite you to curl up with a book to relax. A mini fridge will store your beverages or picnic items.
